Las 6 Maravillas Del Mundo

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL:

¿Si un árbol cae en un bosque y no hay nadie para poder atestiguarlo ni oirlo... aún así hace ruido?
No tengo ni idea y nadie la tiene, pero, ¿para que matarnos con trivialidades si tenemos esto que nos entretiene y que si podemos oir? (:D)
De mano de mi amigo Bryan Buss (Octobuss), de Calgary, les traigo las descargas oficiales de sus inmensas e increibles bandas, en las cuales él compone, ayuda en la producción y toca la guitarra.
Comenzaremos con Octilian, un grupazo para nosotros que nos gusta Oceansize, Amplifier y The Mars Volta, excelente banda progresiva (en un rango del rock al metal) con sus repentinos toques post-rock psicodélico-espacial; si seguimos revisando el catálogo nos encontramos con la mega producción instrumental, ambiental y sonórica. Son plenamente una banda de post-rock que tiende a moverse al indie dentro de un contexto netamente progresivo. Es como mezclar Explosions In The Sky con 65daysofstatic ó como oir Vessels y Mimas... hablo de Jung People, mi gente, la siguiente gran banda en las pistas de Don Caballero y Caspian, de Mono y God Is An Astronaut. Pero no se acaba aqui... oooh no, aún queda muuucho, pero no deseo alargarles la lectura. Otra gran maravilla (que me encanta ver su nombre en mi iPod ^^), es la banda "=" (Equals), el perfecto ingrediente que falta en la receta de aquellos que se alimentan de Sigur Rós, Mogwai y Radiohead, son la contraparte de Battles, mientras los últimos son algo dance-math rock ellos son mas bien electro-post rock. Creando ambientes espectrales amenos, como salir a caminar entre la niebla, perderse en ella y encontrar, finalmente, aquello que buscamos...
No digo más, recomendados al 100%, incluyendo sus otros proyectos: Däs Window, Kobra And The Lotus y I Am A Bad Man! y, por supuesto, los de sus compañeros de trabajo, que les recomiendo que busquen en todos los medios anexos a lo siguiente y que ayudan a crear una buena lista de reproducción en cualquier dispositivo.
PD: cabe recordar que a este hombre también le gusta las bandas ya épicamente clásicas como Queen, The Beatles, The Smiths, etc. :P

My friend Bryan Buss (Octobuss), from Calgary, gave me the oficial downloads of his projects, where he composes, helps to produce and plays the guitar.
We'll start with Octilian, an awesome band for the ones who like Oceansize, Amplifier and The Mars Volta, an excelent progressive band (on a rock-to-metal range) with some space/psychedelic post-rock bits; if we keep on the tracks of the catalogue we can find the ambient and instrumental mega-production. They are a post-rock band that moves often to the indie scene but being within a progressive context. It's like someone mixing Explosions In The Sky with 65daysofstatic or hearing Vessels and Mimas... I'm talking about Jung People, my people, the next great band in the way for the Don Caballero, Caspian, Mono and God Is An Astronaut fans. But it's not ending here... oooh no, but I don't want that you are spending too much time only reading this. The other wonder is the band "=" (Equals), the perfect "something" for the ones who are always with Sigur Rós, Mogwai and Radiohead, they're Battles' counterpart, while the last ones are somewhat of a dance-math rock act these guys are more of a electro-post rock band. Creating mellow-ethereal soundscapes, like taking a walk within the fog, losing inside of it and getting to our objective...
Now, I recomend them 100%, also the other projects where he plays: Däs Window, Kobra And The Lotus and I Am A Bad Man! and, of course, his mates' projects, all these ones already mentioned above helps to create a good playlist for any device.
PS: I have to remember you, guys, that this man likes epic clasic rock bands like: Queen, The Beatles, The Smiths and other legends too :P
